In the "Company Management" section under "Manage Users," you can upload the user list provided by the client by following the parameters in the shared template.
For more details on how to structure the user list, you can view the dedicated article.
Users can be uploaded in two ways:
-
manually, by clicking "Add"
-
in bulk, by uploading a CSV file.
Manual User Upload
Manual user upload is possible by clicking "+Add" in the "People> Manage Users" section.
You'll need to provide several pieces of information for the user:
-
First Name: The user's first name;
-
Last Name: The user's last name;
-
Email: The user's email address. This can be used to access the platform;
-
Language: The user's preferred language for viewing training content;
-
Username: Use an unchangeable value that uniquely identifies the user;
-
Role on the platform: You can select more than one role for the same user;
-
Country: Where the user is located.
Manual entry is recommended when you need to add a small number of users, after the initial upload.
If you want to add additional information (Organization) for the user, you'll need to create it in advance in the appropriate section ("People> Org List").
Bulk User Upload via CSV (recommended)
To import users in bulk onto the platform, go to the “People > Manage Users” section and click “Import CSV”. Make sure to use the semicolon (;) as the separator character in the CSV file.
During the import process, a list of labels corresponding to the CSV file header will be displayed. You can map each field to the corresponding one on the platform.
-
If the “role” field is not mapped, all users will automatically be uploaded with the student role.
-
All additional information (beyond the required fields) that you want to use for segmentation and reporting purposes must be mapped as “New Organization”.
Type of Import
It's important to specify the type of import you are performing:
-
Updating and creating users contained in the CSV (recommended)
-
Updating and creating users present in the CSV file, while simultaneously deleting those who are no longer included in the file but are still active on the platform. This operation is irreversible, so it is not recommended. Deleting users results in permanent removal, including the loss of all recorded progress.
Team Gamification
It's also important to specify, in the case of team gamification, which of the New Organizations will be used for team creation.
