If you want to update users on the platform, you can perform a bulk export of the users already uploaded.
This allows you to have the correct structure of the file that will then need to be re-uploaded using the "Import CSV" option. This way, you avoid duplicating information already present on the platform.
With a new import, you can

Update users: once the file is downloaded, you can make all necessary changes (e.g., change the gamification team, the language associated with the user, add a role to the user, change their email address. The only parameter that cannot be changed is the username field).

Create new users: all users entered as new in the file will be created as new accounts, to which a license will then need to be assigned.

Suspend or remove users: in the CSV file downloaded using the "Export CSV" option, there are two columns available: "deleted" and "suspended".
The "suspended" and "deleted" columns can be used for mass suspension and deletion of users.

Entering the value "1" in the "suspended" column will suspend the users. Conversely, entering the value "0" will reactivate a suspended account.

Entering the value "1" in the "deleted" column will delete the users. Deletion is not recommended, as it is IRREVERSIBLE.
Suspend a User
Suspension allows the user to remain registered on the platform but without receiving further communications (for example, in the case of a user temporarily pausing their training for extended health reasons or maternity leave). The user can be reactivated at any time.
When an account is suspended, the license associated with it is revoked. Therefore, when the account is reactivated, a new license will need to be reassigned to ensure full functionality.
Remove a User
Deleting an account means permanently erasing the user's data and history. This is an irreversible action.
Updating Users via CSV
Once the CSV is ready for import, it can be uploaded to the platform using the "Import CSV" option, and you can choose the user upload mode.
The recommended mode is the default "Add/Update users contained in the CSV": users are updated if they exist (also suspended and deleted if the dedicated columns are filled) and created if new.
The option "Add/update existing and remove users not present in the CSV" allows you to add and update users, but also to remove from the platform all users not present in the CSV (to be used with great caution). Deleting users not present in the Excel file is an irreversible action that results in the PERMANENT deletion of the user and consequently their usage history.
Manual User Update
You can also proceed with a manual update of users. By clicking on the three vertical dots next to the user (in the "People > Manage Users" section), you can perform a series of operations including

edit account, which allows you to change all user information

suspend the account

remove the account
