Within the "Company Management > Setup > Options" section, under the "Phishing" category, there is a checkbox that allows you to hide phishing report progress from students.
This feature is available only for users with an MSP role or higher.
-
If the box is unchecked, students will be able to see the number of reports sent in relation to the total emails received in the right sidebar. The report data is updated only to the last completed campaign.
Therefore, any reports made on emails from ongoing campaigns will not be immediately visible: the user will have to wait for the campaign to close to view the updated statistics.
- Students can also view their interactions with phishing emails received in the "Progress" section of the platform, under "Phishing Emails".
- If the box is checked, students will not see any data related to the reports made in the right sidebar.
- In the "Progress" section of the platform, the "Phishing Emails" widget will not be visible.
🔒 When It Makes Sense to Hide Reports
It is advisable to check the box in the following cases:
-
The Cyber Guru Phishing service has not been purchased by the company.
-
The phishing report feature has not been activated by the client.
In these scenarios, showing the report section could cause confusion for users, so hiding the report progress improves the user experience.
👥 Managing Visibility for Supervisors
In addition to end users, the visibility of report data can also be managed for supervisors.
In the Company Management> Setup> Phishing section, a specific toggle allows enabling or disabling the display of statistics on "Cyber Defenders," or users who have made reports.
Access to this feature is granted to users with a Company Admin or MSP role.
