The Cyber Guru platform supports various roles, each with dedicated dashboards, customized menus, and differentiated access to ensure a targeted, secure, and tailored experience. Below is an overview of the main roles.
Role Switching and Management
Users with multiple roles can select the active one through the dropdown menu at the top right. The platform will automatically update dashboards, menus, and permissions, showing only what is authorized for the selected role.
👤 Student
Who is it?
The Student role is assigned to users who access the platform to participate in courses and training exercises.
Key Features:
✅ Access to learning content
✅ View their own learning progress.
✅ Access to the company's reserved area
✅ Access and download participation certificates for enabled courses.
Limitations:
⚠ Students can access only training resources. They do not have access to management settings or group reports.
👥 Team Leader
Who is it?
The Team Leader is responsible for monitoring their team's progress, with access to team dashboards and reports.
Key Features:
✅ Access to the team dashboard with performance statistics and reports
✅ Download team data reports
✅ Ability to send personalized communications to the team (<500)
Limitations:
⚠ Does not have access to user management features.
⚠ Does not have access to the Phishing (CGP) service or related reports.
🏢 Supervisor
Who is it?
The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the progress of the entire company population and has full access to reports on all services.
Key Features:
✅ Access to the company dashboard with performance statistics and reports for all services.
✅ Download aggregated reports
✅ Ability to send communications to the entire company (<500)
🛡️ Company Manager (or Admin)
This role not only has visibility power over company data and activities but also has concrete operational powers, allowing them to:
Key Features:
✅ Manage users, organizations, and team leaders (create, modify, delete).
✅ Assign lower roles (Student, Team Leader, Supervisor).
✅ Distribute available licenses
✅ Add languages for the company
✅ Manage student caring events and release calendar.
✅ Access global reports and statistics (CGA, CGC, CGP).
✅ Fully manage simulation campaigns (and create custom templates)
✅ Upload documents to the company's reserved area.
Limitations:
⚠ Cannot modify the number of associated licenses or create or extend licenses.
⚠ Cannot assign training courses.
⚠ No access to advanced company options (video blocking, custom sender, SSO mapping, gamification visibility, integrations, custom SMTP configuration).
⚠ Cannot manage CGP attachments.
🌐 MSP – Managed Service Provider
The MSP (Managed Service Provider) role is assigned to a certified user responsible for creating and managing multiple companies within the Cyber Guru platform.
The MSP is not just a supervisor with data access: they have extended visibility and operational powers, allowing them to independently govern and configure all associated companies.
🔹 Key Features
✅ Creation of new companies.
✅ Management of general settings (name, VAT number, supported languages, etc.).
✅ Management of authentication settings (SSO, LDAP).
✅ Platform customization (logo, colors, branding).
✅ Management of users, ORG, and team leaders for all associated companies.
✅ Creation, extension, and distribution of licenses.
✅ Access and configuration of Phishing settings (CGP).
✅ Association and management of training paths.
✅ Management of student caring events.
✅ Planning and management of the release calendar.
✅ Full access to advanced company options (video blocking, custom sender, SSO mapping, gamification visibility, integrations with other products, custom SMTP configuration).
✅ Access to user management and complete reporting (CGA, CGC, CGP) for all associated companies.
✅ Uploading documents to the company's reserved area.
✅ Management of attachments and CGP templates.
✅ Complete management of CGP campaigns (deactivation/activation of templates, campaign recreation, deletion before approval).
✅ Viewing of training paths.
🔹 Limitations
⚠ Cannot create new training paths (can only associate existing ones).
⚠ Cannot complete a CGP campaign to be able to delete it.
