Cyber Guru is a platform dedicated to raising awareness and training on cybersecurity, offering various training paths. The three main programs available are:
-
Cyber Guru Awareness (CGA)
-
Cyber Guru Channel (CGC)
-
Cyber Guru Phishing (CGP)
The availability of each program depends on the training plan activated by the organization.
The training content is made available according to a scheduled frequency agreed upon with the client company, usually monthly.
The scoring scheme for various content can be viewed in the dedicated article on gamification.
🧠 Cyber School
The training program is structured on multiple levels, each typically comprising 12 modules from the Cyber Guru Awareness (CGA) program.
Awareness Modules
The modules are made available on the platform with a monthly frequency, unless otherwise scheduled by the organization.
Users can only access “active” modules, starting from the first up to the twelfth, according to the availability set by their training plan.
Each module unlocks only after completing the previous one, following a progressive training sequence.
Module Structure
Each module consists of 3 lessons, each including:
-
A training video with an average duration of 5–7 minutes
-
A downloadable PDF containing the same content as the video
-
Each module contains 3 lessons
-
From the menu at the top left, you can access the list of lessons and their respective tests.
-
Lessons can be paused and resumed: remember to select “save and exit” to avoid losing progress.
Learning Verification Test
-
At the end of each lesson: 4 multiple-choice questions
-
The test is accessible only after watching the entire video
-
Passing: at least 3 correct answers out of 4
-
The test is repeatable without limits and allows you to earn points
-
You can:
-
View the score and success percentage
-
Retake the test if the score is < 75%
-
See a summary of attempts made
-
Check which questions were answered incorrectly (but not the correct answer)
-
Additionally, you can view a summary of the questions tackled, indicating which ones were answered incorrectly (the provided answer, however, will not be visible).
Consolidation Test - Cup
Within the Cyber School, every three training contents, a "Consolidation Test" called "Cup" is released. It is a quiz consisting of 10 questions, which can be repeated only once.
The test is considered passed (and the cup is obtained) by answering all questions correctly.
In case of a negative result, continuing the training path is not precluded.
Cyber Guru Channel
Each Channel episode lasts about 5/7 minutes and there is NO learning verification test at the end.
Within the episode, you can find
-
A brief description of the episode
-
A description of the threat discussed
-
A description of the series
In the bottom left corner, you can download the PDF version of the episode.
Cyber Campus
In the case of the cyber campus, we have different types of educational content
-
Cyber Insights
-
DidActive
-
Serious Game
-
WarmUp
Cyber Insight
Cyber Insight consists of a short educational video that must be watched in full before accessing a test with 4 multiple-choice questions. The test must be passed to complete the content and continue with the training path. If you fail, you can retake the test with no limit on attempts. The system allows you to review the lesson or retake the test immediately. A summary of the attempts made is provided, followed by a recap of what was learned during the video.
DidActive
DidActive is an interactive content that includes 5 scenes. At the end of each scene, the user must answer questions. Depending on the answers given, the user receives feedback that helps redirect knowledge if necessary and fill any gaps identified during the previous path.
Serious Game
The Serious Game consists of interactive escape room-style content where the user must solve puzzles. Based on the answers provided, the user receives feedback that guides their progress in the game.
WarmUp
These are short review videos at the end of which the user must identify, in a comic strip, the threats that materialize in different situations. The user is given feedback: if the answer is correct, the feedback will be reinforcing, while if the answer is partially correct or incorrect, the feedback will be redirecting.
🛡️ Cyber Guru Phishing (CGP)
Cyber Guru Phishing is a Phishing and Smishing attack simulation program, which can also be extended to other types of attacks in organizations that have activated the PhishPRO package.
Training Remediation (PhishPRO)
If specific conditions occur (e.g., clicking on a simulated attack), the user can be directed to view a training video dedicated to Phishing.
-
This content appears in the list of tasks to be completed, within the Dashboard.
-
For organizations that also adopt the CGA and/or CGC programs, the Remediation content will be visible alongside other items in the training plan.
